....100 posts in.

I was rather suprised to discover that I was almost 100 posts in. Never figured I'd have this much to say over a rather short period of time of 8 months. Wish I could say the same for my project and army progres, still I have a blast every thing I do find time to work on some minis.

Though I am definitely not the most regularly active blogger I am rather happy I decided to give the whole blog experience a try. Through From the Warp I've been exposed to a ton of great people, inspirational work and great ideas. So it has been worth every click and read, so in thanks here are some of my favorite blogs/projects out there in no particular order:
  • Naturally From the Warp - Ron is not only a great wargaming artist, he's always ready to help out fellow gamers and has done so much to bring together the various bloggers of the blogsphere. And then there are the tons of tutorials, guest posts and what not, From the Warp is going to keep me interested for a very, very long time to come!
  • Tabletop Fix - and no not just because I won some Dystopian Wars stuff from them. The rate at which this blog has developped into a near all incompassing wargaming news blog is great. Not a day goes by without new miniatures news and that just keeps a big smile on my face!
  • Weemen - When I first started my blog my focus was still on my Relictors (which will hopefully be the case again after the holidays) and that is how I came into contact with the Weemen blog. Fellow Relictor-fan Siph_Horridus was one of the first people to welcome me to Blogspot and I've since really enjoyed his works as well as that of his fellow bloggers Pornstarjedi and The 6th degree.
  • Faeit 212 - News and Insights into the Warhammer 40k universe, by Natfka. And he does just that by dissecting armylists, units and characters. I am particularly enjoying his ongoing analysis of the Dark Eldar.
  • Galaxy in Flames - Big Jim just keeps working hard on those excellent Killzone rules, despite the tragic loss of a large portion of his Souls Reapers army after somebody broke into his car!
  • Dei Greci - Plasticard and sculptor extrodinair Klaus has been amazing me for a long time and he just keeps doing it. Truly inspiring work that pushes me to try out new stuff every now and then as well.
  • Massive Voodoo - humbling, yet also inspiring work from a range of extremely talented painters and builders.
  • Inq28 - the Inquisition lives and comes with tons of great conversions
  • Alexander the Alchemist - Inquisitor Alex, as I've gotten to know him on Astronomican, is a master of putting together seemingly random bits and make them look fantastic. Naturally it helps that he is a great sculptor who is always willing to trade some bits or make a custom mini.
  • And naturally I have to mention the Storm Wardens Project - talent from all over the blogsphere united to build and army of Storm Wardens. Tickets were sold and the army was put into a grand lottery. This led to a ton of happy winner as well as $16,007 in donations to Doctor Without Borders.
Naturally there are tons more great blogs and projects out there, these are just the ones that came to mind right now. So thank you for a great time Blogspot and on to the 1000 post! Keep an eye out for some more Dark Eldar and Dystopian Wars stuff.
